Add a second line of stitching inch in from the first. Cut your tape at least one inch more in size than the tear on all sides. Lay the tent fabric on a solid surface and remove the backing on the tape patch. On the exterior of the tent start by cleaning the area around the tear with rubbing alcohol and a rag.
