Redgard waterproofing membrane is an easy to install solution to prevent water leaks through horizontal and vertical installations. You can apply redgard to concrete cement backerboard exterior grade plywood and exterior decks. However if you live in a particularly cold or warm environment with high humidity levels expect drying to take upwards of 12 or more hours. It also bonds directly to metal and plastic drain assemblies.

If you notice any holes or inconsistencies on the shower wall or floor use a paintbrush to fill these areas in with redgard. In optional conditions the redgard show waterproofing system dries in 1 2 hours. Using redgard under floor and wall tile will create a barrier that will be undisturbed after the tile is installed and grouted. Before installing redgard make sure any exterior or wet areas have properly angled floors that slope to drains.

It bonds directly to clean metal drains pvc stainless steel and abs drain assemblies and can be used as a slab on grade moisture vapor barrier under all types of floor coverings. The membrane also produces a moisture barrier. Easy to use and can be applied by roller trowel or airless sprayer.
